What is Scheduled Maintenance?
Preventative or routine, based on manufacturer recommendations for services such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid changes.
Ensures vehicles can be operated safely while staying in line with warranty and preventing unscheduled repairs
Brakes and Tires
Need to be continually checked and replaced as necessary, many variables for replacement such as conditions and usage
Non-Scheduled Maintenance
May or may not be covered by a warranty, typically larger and more expensive components breaking down at higher mileage. Failure can be accelerated due to driver behavior, vehicle usage, and not following scheduled maintenance
Goodwill Assistance
After warranty coverage that a manufacturer may extend if a vehicle has been properly maintained and has records to prove it
Downtime
The loss of revenue and cost of non-productive employee when a vehicle is not operable
How do we structure our leases to help maintenance costs
We structure leases to come to term around 100k miles to cycle before major repairs are needed
Maintenance Management
Applicable to any vehicle in a fleet, regardless of age. Pay as you go program set up as a bill-through
Full Maintenance
Prepaid program spreading all maintenance costs out over the lease term up to 100k, allows customers to budget knowing their final monthly costs
What is NSD and what do they do?
National Service Department is our team of ASE certified technicians who oversee every repair invoice and check for cost savings/unnecessary costs. They review anything over $75
