Q

Describe normal foot function highlighting STJ/ MTJ mid stance to propulsion

A

Normal propulsion requires that the foot converts to a rigid lever.
The tarsal bones must become locked together by the osseus locking mechanisms which develop as the STJ becomes supinated and the MTJ is pronated.
