Q

What are the three types of magnets

A
  1. Natural – magnetite, type of rock found in the earth
  2. Permanent – made out of metal, stay magnetized unless hit repeatedly or heated- iron, nickel or cobalt
  3. Temporary – lose their magnetism very quickly, example electromagnet
