Cardio: dysrhythmias, bradycardia, hypotension, heart blocks
Neuro: drowsiness

Routes: IVP, IO, IM, IVPB
Adult: 1-4g in 50-100ml NS IVPB/IVP over 5 minutes
Pediatric: 20-50mg/kg in 50-100 ml NS IVPB max single dose is 2g
