Fever Low bp Major organ involvement (3) Erythematous macular rash, sometimes looks like sunburn Desquamation of palms and soles

Staph aureus (TSST1) Strep pyogenes (Exotoxin A)
Tinea versicolor or Pityriasis sx
Upper trunk (not usually below the waist) Neck, proximal upper extremities NO FEVER Branny scaling maculopapules Spots don’t tan Can be hypo or hyper pigmented
