Beans, nuts, lentils, chickpeas, pulses

Lowers risk of heart disease and lowers blood cholesterol

It is stored as body fat if unused and it encourages weight gain. Increased risk of heart disease.

Olive Oil, nuts and avacado

Provides slow release, long lasting energy to the body.
What are some examples of Complex Carbohydrates?
Potatoes, Rice, Pasta, Bread, Oats
What does a sugary Carbohydrate do?
Provides fast release energy and no other nutrients.
