What are the 4 rules of firearm safety?
Treat weapon as if it’s loaded
Never point your weapon in anything you do no intent to shoot
Keep your weapon on safe until you intent to fire
Keep your finger off the trigger until you intend to fire

Red- magazine is inserted blot is forward with a round in the chamber

What is SPORTS?
SPORTS is the immediate action for the M4. It stands or slap, pull, observe, release, tap and squeeze.
When you have a malfunction on your M4 immediately slap up on the magazine to ensure it is seated, pull on your charging handle to charge the weapon, observe the round exiting the chamber, release the charging handle, tap the forward assist, regain your sight picture and alignment and squeeze the trigger.
