Mortars should be able to fire at least one half to two thirds of their range to the front of the forward elements of the supported friendly force.

What is the difference between deliberate and hasty occupation?
The amount of time to prepare position by the recon team. (Hasty may get some prep done, but very minimal. Deliberate is covering all bases)

Point detonating M935: set to superquick or delay. Has pull wire safety.
