What are aircraft fuel lines made form?
Rigid lines are stainless steel or aluminium alloy and are connected with Military Standard (MS) or Airforce/Navy Standard (AN) fittings.
Flexible fuel hoses have a synthetic rubber interior with a reinforcing fibre braid wrap covered by a synthetic exterior. Some flexible fuel hoses have a braided stainless-steel exterior.
Where are stainless steel fuel lines used?
used in the engine compartment, wheel wells, and other areas which are susceptible to debris, abrasion, and heat damage.

Jet A -40 C or -40F
