The author’s physical surroundings and social relationships, as well as the culture of this time, may have influenced his or her writing.
Social Enviornment
Personal accounts or firsthand experiences of events, though subjective, establish credibility and reliability of information presented in any discourse.
Experiences
When properly arranged depending on the topic as well as the writer’s purpose, style, and target reader, words, sentences, and paragraphs can form this.
Connected Discoures
Defined as the sequence of paragraphs that represents an extended unit of speech.

Writer aims to persuade the audience/readers.
Argumentation
Presents valid claims or counterclaims, each supported by evidence, to prove a point
Argumentation
Based on the main impression of the author about the topic or subject.
Description
Aims to inform, clarify, and explain a phenomenon.

Achieved when sentences are connected at sentence level.

Achieved when ideas are connected.
