Culture is not a single pattern of human behaviour. It is complex and
dynamic. It undergoes constant changes and process. It evolves from time to time due to uncontrollable interactions of an individuals having different
cultures.
Is linked with the elite, upper class society, those families and
individuals with an ascribed stats position. It is often associated with the arts such as opera ballet and classical ,music and sports such as polo. High culture maintains it’s elite and exclusive position.
High Culture
is a concept relating to culturally embedded differences within the society, it’s the fact that different cultures exist alongside each other.
Cultural Diversity
culture enjoyed by a small group within the society. In this sense
it is a minority part of majority culture. They have distinct norms and values which make them sub-section of society.
Subculture
it borrows the idea from high culture and popularizes it, making it available for the masses; a product of the media dominated world; it is the positive force for it brings people of different backgrounds together in a common culture

it is depicted to be very similar to cultural diversity, other definitions align multiculturalism with different ethnic groups living alongside each other

a global culture is a key feature of globalization, they emerged
due to patterns of migration, trends in international travel and the spread of the media, exposing people to the same images of the same dominant world

Definition and Nature of Culture
Culture is one of the human dimensions.
It shapes the mind. Belief and morals of individuals in the society.
It varies from different groups of people, depending on their values and belief system.
It defines the people in particular society.
It gives reason and purpose of the activities of the people in various events and their reaction towards certain conditions or situations.
Importance of Culture

d. Our culture shapes our value and value and belief systems
Role of Culture in Moral Behavior
- Culture undeniably does play a significant pseudo role within shaping moral behavior and extend even further to social norms.
- Culture is everything and not just an art and entertainment that we
occasionally enjoy; - Culture indeed influences human behavior at any given society’s belief system, laws, mores, practices, language and attitudinal variables that make people unique.
Is the principle regarding the beliefs, values and practices of a culture from the viewpoint of the culture itself. Originating in the work of Franz Boas in the early 20th century, cultural relativism has greatly influenced social sciences such as anthropology.

Is the view that moral judgements are true or false only relative to some particular standpoint and that no stand point is uniquely privileged over all others.
Moral Relativism
Moral Relativism can be understood in several ways:
a. Descriptive moral relativism- also known as cultural relativism, says that moral standards are culturally defined. Ex honesty, respect.
b. Meta-ethical moral relativism- states that there are no objective grounds for preferring the moral values of one culture over another.
c. Normative moral relativism- is the idea of all societies should accept each others differing moral values, given that there are no universal moral principles.
