Rows are identified by numbers and columns are identified by letters.

What is the main box?
The Main Box indicates the cell you have highlighted or are working on.
Can a workbook have multiple sheets?
Yes

Slide over the button with the mouse and an explanation will arise.
Why does the menu bar remain in Excel?
It is a Mac standard.
What is the Excel Ribbon?
This is the Excel specific menu bar of tools. It is the user interface. You can view program capabilities without opening menus.
