What are the causes and consequences of a oedema?
A
Causes: Increased capillary hydrostatic pressure, decreased oncotic pressure, lymphatic obstruction, or increased capillary permeability.
Consequences: Tissue swelling, impaired oxygen/nutrient delivery, and increased infection risk.
