What is the Alert height ?

A

The Alert Height is a specified radio height, based on the characteristics of the aircraft and its fail-operational landing system.

Auto land NO DH description from 1000ft

A

1000ft - “One thousand”
800ft - LDG inhibit
700 ft - FMGC data locked e.g.: ILS course & freq, PERF app)
500ft - “Five hundred - Stable”
400 ft - FCU modes locked.
350 ft, “LAND” must be displayed on FMA. CM1 checks ILS COURSE
200 ft, AUTOLAND RED light armed.
100 ft - “One hundred” - “Continue”
40ft or below - “FLARE”
30ft or below- THR IDLE
10 ft - RETARD auto call out as an order.
0 ft -“ROLLOUT”

Take off alternate requirements.

A

A suitable aerodrome must be available when performance or meteorological conditions prevent an immediate return to the departure aerodrome. A take off alternate must be located within a threshold DIST based on 1hr flight time OEI speed in still air and ISA conditions. Increased LDG minima for overweight conditions must be considered.
TO ALTN must be within 320nm.
