Q

What is the Luria Model in 6 steps?

A
  1. Primary sensory area - occipital cortex, auditory cortex and somatosensory cortex recieves unimodal sensation.
  2. Secondary sensory unit elaborates on the sensations - they remain unimodal
  3. Tertiary sensory unit integrates the sensations hetromodally.
  4. Tertiary motor unit plans what to do with the sensations - prefrontal cortex
  5. Secondary motor unit takes these plans and breaks them into sequences
  6. Primary motor unit executes the actions - motor cortex
