What is the collimation for AP lumbopelvic?

What is the collimation for lateral lumbar?

What is the collimation for L5-S1 spot shot?

What is the CR entrance for AP lumbopelvic?
Males: 2” below crest; Females: 1” below crest
What is the CR entrance for Lateral Lumber?
1” above crest
What is the CR entrance for L5-S1 spot?
2-3” below crest and 1” posterior
What are the breathing instructions for lumbars?
Exhale and hold
Which way should the ID marker be facing for Lumbars?
ID blocker up
which view requires a gonad shield?
AP lumbopelvic (Only one that requires a shield in lumbar views)
How do you tell left from right?
ANATOMICAL MARKERS (Put those things on there…Don’t forget dude); make sure it in light, but away from anatomy
What is the first thing you should do before you set up for x-rays?
say you would have patient gowned and all artifacts removed. Also do caliper measurements!
