On the meadial side of the big toe in the depression distal and inferior to the first metatarsophalengeal joint
Sp-3
On the medial side of the foot in the depression proximal and inferior to the head of the first metatarsal bone
Sp-4
On the medial side of the foot in the depression distal and inferior to the base of the first metatarsal bone
Sp-5
On the medial side of the ankle in the depression thay lies at the junction of the straight lines drawn along the anterior and inferior boarders of the medial malleolus

On the medial side of the leg 3 cun superior to the prominence of the medial malleolus in the depression close to the medial crest of the tibia
CAUTION: contraindicated pregnancy
Sp-7
On the medial side of the lower leg 3 cun superior to Sp-6 in a depression just posterior to the medial crest of the tibia
CAUTION: classic contraindicated to moxa
Sp-8
On the medial side of the low leg 3 cun inferior to Sp-9 in a depression just posterior to the medial crest of the tibia

On the medial side of the lower leg in a depression in the angle formed by the medial condyle of the tibia and the posterior boarder of the tibia
(Note same place as gb-34 but medial)

2 cun proximal to the superior boarder of the patella in the tender depression of the buldge of the vastus medialis muscle directly above sp-9
Sp-11
On the medial side of the upper leg 6 cun procimal to sp-10 on a line connecting Sp-10 with Sp-12
CAUTION: deep needling may puncture the femoral artery
Sp-12
3.5 cun lateral to Cv-2 on the lateral side of the femoral artery
CAUTION: deep needling in a medial direction may puncture the femoral artery and in a lateral direction the femoral nerve
Ki-1
On the sole of the foot between the 2nd and 3rd metatarsal bones approx 1/3 of the distance between the base of the second toe and the heel in a depression formed when the foot is plantar flexed
Ki-2
On the medial side of the foot distal and inferior to the medial malleolus in a depression distal and inferior to the navicular tuberosity
Ki-3
In the depression between the medial malleolus and the achillies tendon level with the prominence of the medial malleolus
Ki-4
Approx 0.5 cun posterior to the midpoint of the line drawn between ki-3 and Ki-5 on the anterior boarder of the achillies tendon
Ki-5
1 cun inferior to ki-3 in a depression anterior and inferior to the calcaneal tuberosity
Ki-6
1 cun below the prominence of the medial malleolus in the groove formed by 2 ligament bundles
Ki-7
On the medial aspect of the lower leg in the depression 2 cun superior to ki-3 on the anterior boarder of theachillies tendon
Ki-8
On the medial aspect of the low leg 2 cun superior to ki-3 and 0.5 cun anterior to ki-7 posterior to the medial boarder of the tibia
Ki-9
On the medial aspect of the lower leg 5 cun superior to ki-3 on the line drawn between ki-3 and ki-10 about 1 cun posterior to the medial boarder of the tibia
Ki-10
At the medial end of the popliteal crease between the semitendonosis and semimembranosis tendons
ESSENTIAL POSITION: locate and needle with knee slightly flexed
Lr-1

On the ankle anterior to the prominence of the medial malleolus in the signifacant depression just medial to the tendon of tibialis anterior when the ankle is in dorsiflexion

5 cun above the medial malleolus immediately posterior to the medial crest of the tibia in the depression between the medial crest of the tibia and the gastrocnemius muscle
Lr-6
7 cun above the prominence of the medial malleolus immediately posterior to the medial border of the tibia in the depression between the medial boarder of the tibia and the gastrocnemius muscle
Lr-7
Posterior and inferior to the medial epicondyle of the tibia 1 cun posterior to Sp-9
Lr-8
Just superior to the medial end of the politeal crease in the depression anterior to the tendons of semitendonosis and semimambranosis about 1 cun anterior to ki-10
Lr-9
Directly superior to the medial epicondyle of the femur 4 cun suoerior to Lr-8 in the cleft between vastus medialus and the sartorius muscle
Lr-10
3 cun inferior to st-30 on the anterior boarder of addictor longus
St-30
On the abdomen 2 cun lateral to midline level w the superior boarder of pubic symphasis (cv2)
Lr-11
2 cun inferior to st-30 on the anterior boarder of adductor longus
Lr-12
1 cun inferior and 2.5 cun lateral to Cv2 in the crease of the groin medial to the femoral vein
CAUTION: Avoid femoral vein, contra indicated to moxa
Bafeng
On the dorsum of the foot between the toes 0.5 cun proximal to the margin of the web
Heding
In the depression at the midpoint of the superior boarder of the patella
Baichongwo
3 cun proximal to the superior boarder of the patella in a tender depression on yhe buldge of the vastus medialus muscle
Xiyan ( weixiyan)
On the knee in the hollows formed when the knee is flexed immdediatley below the patella on the both medial and lteral side of the patellar ligament

CAUTION: no deep needling to avoid intraarticular punctures
Kangu
Pair of points 2 cun superior to the patella and 1.5 cun lateral and medial to st-34
Neixiyan
Inferior yo the patella in depression medial to patellar ligament
BODY POSITION: knee should be flexed
CAUTION: knee joint

On the highest prominence of the medial malleolus
Duyin
On the plantar aspect of the 2nd toe at the midpoint of the transverse crease of the distal interphalengeal joint
Qiduan
On the tips of the 10 toes 0.1 cun from the free margin of the nail
