Acetabulofemoral joint abduction
Gluteus medius, gluteus minimus, TFL
Acetabulofemoral joint lateral rotation
Obdurator internis, quadratus femoris, gemellus superior and inferior, Obdurator externis, piriformis. Innervates by sacral plexus (L4-S2). Inferior gluteal artery, lateral sacral artery, superior gluteal artery
Acetabulofemoral joint medial rotation
Gluteus minimus and medius
Knee extension
3 vastae (lateralis, intermedialis, medialis), rectus femoris, SO QuADRICEPS FEMORIS
Knee flexion
Hamstrings, gastrocnemius, popliteus (unlocker of knee), plantaris (vestigial). Inferior gluteal artery and deep femoral artery. Sciatic nerve
Talocrural plantar flexion
Gastrocnemius, soleus, plantaris, posterior tibial, flexor digitorum longus, flexor halloucis longus, peroneus longus and brevis
Tibial nerve (L4-S3) and posterior tibial artery
Talocrural inversion
Anterior and posterior tibial
Talocrural eversion
Peroneus longus and peroneus brevis. Superficial peroneal nerve and peroneal artery.
Talocrural dorsiflexion
Tibialis anterior, extensor halloucis longus, extensor digitorum longus, peroneus tertius. Medial to lateral goes Tom Dick Harry Timmy. Deep peroneal nerve (L4-S2) and anterior tibial artery
