Love ox (Enoxaparin) MOA

A

Binds to antithrombin (AT), enhancing the rate of thrombin (IIa)-AT complex formation, which inhibits clotting factor Xa.

Xa:IIa = b/w 4:1 and 2:1

A

PE/DVT prevention: 30mg or 40 mg subq q 12hrs immediately p sx

Unstable angina or non-q wave MI: 1mg/kg subq q 12 hrs (w/ 100-325 mg ASA)
