A

How did Henry maintain political stability

A

-At his accession anointed with Holy Oil by Arch Bishop of Canterbury, imbued with divine authority.
-Looked to bishops for advice and assistance. Archbishop was appointed as Lord Chancellor
-Expected Pope Innocent VIII to support him against rebels and imposters
