Criteria for deadly force of preventing escape
- Probable cause suspect has committed a felony involving deadly force
- Suspect is armed; poses imminent threat of death or serious injury to anyone
- Suspect has failed to obey an order to halt
Known weapon EISS
-Location must be reasonably well known
-if not well known no EISS but must take other measures to ensure boarding team safety

SIA Procedure
-Once suspect is in handcuffs placing them into the prone position have them lay on their right side have them position their right leg straight out and their left leg bent at the knee trying to get their heel as close to their buttocks as possible and then the officer placing their knee in the crutch of their left foot to keep the subject locked into position and commence their crush and pass searching waist bands shoes socks inside their mouth ears and nose for means of escape, weapons and evidence
