Argument from Antiquity
to prove something must be true because it has been believed in for a long time.
From Authority
Just because it grows in the earth it must be good for you.
Appeal to Quantum Physics- Ethos
it must be true without checking authority. Citing authority not logic. Going from a big scientist but it doesn’t mean it’s true.

a statement that is strong and you turn it weak

Suggest that my point is already correct.

Only look at the 2 extremes and not the middle.
Red Herring
a distract from the real point.
Special Pleading
It must be true because it can’t be tested.
