2) film of car crashes then 3 groups asked Q’s (+ critical) “how fast were the cars when they (hit/smashed/no question)”
week later asked critical “did you see broken glass”

A
1) smashed estimated higher speed (average 40.8) compared to contacted lowest (average 31.8)
2) higher speeds in smashed, were x2 likely to report glass (16) than the hit group (7)
