Engage with communities to increase participation in sport and physical activity
Local authorities provide community sport facilities, from the local parks to leisure centres, they allow a huge range of leisure activities to be performed locally
Local Authorities are also now responsible for the health outcomes for their populations
Build relationships with partners (NGB’s) - ‘stoneham football hub’
Provide programmes and schemes to get the local population active
