PTC & ERCP indications
A
PTC
- jaundice
- pre-op exam of biliary tract
ERCP
- If clinical image findings indicate abnormality
- Removal of stones in ducts
- Placement of stent in CBD

Post-op cholangiography (T-tube cholangiography)
A
-T-shaped tube left in CBD at operation
Purpose is to demonstrate
- calibre and patency of ducts
- Sphincter of hepatopancreatic ampulla status
-injection of CM into tube to look at bile flow
