- A measure to which a place is suitable/easy/pleasant to live in
- It is the PIVOTAL factor that contributes to where people live
- Correlates with principle of sustainability, a goal for meeting our needs presently, without compromising future needs
Why do people live/move to certain areas?

Infrastructure - Roads, buildings, transport
Culture - Restaurants, local groceries
Environment - Parks, ovals, tracks
Education - Schools, universities, work opportunities
Safety and Stability - Police, Firefighter, Ambulance
Healthcare - Hospitals, clinics, GP’s
It is important to consider liveability for … because…
Young people because they are our future and they will continue to maintain these liveable cities for generations to come. It also promotes social inclusion and creates a greater sense of community.

A community of place is a community of people who interconnect with each other because of place and interests.
