Set-up

Answer 1

• Introduce one part of the literature circle every day.
• Give a sheet with two sides for each role:
  one with an example,
  one with a blank
• Carry out the activity for each role + help students figure information each role has to identify in the text.
• After modeling, let students try roles on their own.
• Then, students read a story and complete their assigned roles
• The next day, have students with same roles meet to compare notes

- Have the literature circle as a class to model the proper way to discuss 
(students can ask questions about the process)

• Carry out the real activity
