Drama
Expressive writing that tells a story to an audience through the actions and dialogue of characters which are played by actors onstage

Ballad
A short narrative song about an event that is considered important, usually intended to be recited
Sonnet
A lyrical poem composed of 14 lines, usually written in iambic pentameter
Haiku
A short poem format, created in Japan, that consists of 3 lines and 17 syllables (5, 7, 5 division among the lines)
Villanelle
19 lines long with 5 stanzas (each with 3 lines and final stanza with 4 lines), it includes a refrain- two lines that repeat throughout the poem following a pattern
