What is the antagonist?
Forces that work against the protagonist. Can be weather, another person, feelings, ect.
What is the protagonist?
The main character of the story
What is the setting?
When and where the story takes place.
What is the plot?
The events in the story – what happens to the protagonist
What is the climax?
The high point of the story that occurs near the end.
What is denouement?
When things go back to normal after the climax
What are conflicts?
Tension between characters or the character and setting or character and inner thoughts
What is the problem?
Challenges that the protagonist tries to solve.
What is the resolution?
The outcome of trying to solve the problem with conflicts
What are themes?
Ideas from a story that be be applied to all humankind
What is the central idea?
The theme that is threaded through the entire story
