the plot is the term used to describe the main events in the story.

we learn who the characters and we learn where and when and the story take place ( the setting) also we learn the goals of the protagonist.

Rising action is when we began to see how the protagonist

what is the climax
A
a climax is when we learn if the problem that the main character faces will be solved.

what is the falling action
A
the falling action occurs immediately after the climax has been resolved.

what is the resolution
A
the resolution is the end of the story where the conflicts has been resolved and the plot has been “untiled”.
