Metonymy is a figure of speech that involves using a word or phrase to represent something else that is closely associated with it
eg. phones and technology
Synecdoche
Synecdoche is when we use a part to represent the whole or the whole to represent a part.
Semantics
Words or sentences that have meanings behind them.
Double entendre
Has two meanings behind it, the other one being humorous
Imperative
Command

A sentence that ends with an excalamation mark

Belief.

Expression eg. sweating buckets.
