Someone who believes the Bible is the true word of God.
A literalist will say the world was created in 6 days and evolution did not happen.
They say fossils were placed on earth by God. Science is wrong

Believe that the Bible contains spiritual truths inspired by God and it can be interpreted.
They believe the Bible isn’t stating facts, and what is important is the message
The message is the a loving God created each of us as special beings over a period of time (evolution) and gave us a good world to look after and live in
