Clarence Tom Ashley. A traditional folk Ballad that’s also a British ballad. It tells the story of a carpenter seduced by a woman who is presumed dead but has returned to him, leading to his downfall which explores the themes of temptation, betrayal, and the consequences of straying from a virtuous path. (high pitched voice)
