What power does section 175 of the sale of liquor act 1989 give you?
Police may at any reasonable time enter a licensed premises to ascertain it is complying its licence and with this act. (S.175(1))
Police may at any time enter a licensed premises if they have reasonable grounds to believe an offence against this act is being committed. (S.175(2))
What power does section 176 of the sale of liquor act 1989 give you?
It gives police the power to demand a persons name, address, DOB if they believe an offence against this act is/has/will be committed, they can also demand ID if they believe the particulars are false
What powers does section 40 of the arms act 1983 give you?
The power to demand the particulars of anyone in possession of a firearm
