What are lipids made from?
A
Lipids have a variants of different compounds, but all contain hydrocarbons, that relate to the lipids function.

What are the two types of lipid we need to know?
A
Triglycerides and phospholipids.

What is the structure of a triglyceride.
A
They have one molecule of glycerol with three fatty acids (hydrocarbon tails) attached to it.

A
The tails are hydrophobic (repel water).
