Q

What is a link?

A

It is a component of a mechanism. It can be classified by the number of components that it has with other components.

Q

What is Grueblers condition?

A

It allows us to predict the degrees of freedom for a mechanism.
DOF = (3 x number of links) - (2 x number of joints)
number of links does not include grounded links.
The number of joints reflects the value of each joint.
