* maybe humanity has reached that level of hositlity and corruption that the poet feels deprived of any joy - sense of nostalgia - deep sense of longing for harmony
structure:
* “I cannot measure” - longer more reflective, creating a pause in the rhythm contrasts with energtic action of birds - highlights gap between humanity and nature
