Line Intercept Method Flashcards

1
Q

What is the general definition of the line intercept method?

Q

How long are transects typically?

A

Length depends on the density and homogeneity of the vegetation. If vegetation is sparse, a longer transect is needed. Usually 100-200 feet or longer.

Q

How are plants measured?

A
