Limits Flashcards

1
Q

Nf

A

Power on: 97-100%

Nf overspeed are determined on a sliding scale depending on TOT, Nf percentage, and duration.

Avoid range (steady state operation): 75-88% with torque above 33%. Steady state is defined as holding Nf within a 2% range. Holding Nf in this range for 60 cumulative seconds requires turbine replacement and shall be avoided. Flight in this range shall be recorded on a MAF to ensure documentation and shall include duration.

Note- Transient operation when manipulating the twist grip from flight idle to full open is allowed and requires no MAF
