What is required when an operating limitation is exceeded?
- Anytime an operating limitation is exceeded, an appropriate entry shall be made in the helicopter logbook
- Entry shall state which limit was exceeded, duration of time, extreme value attained, and any additional information essential in determining maintenance action required
How may persons is the helicopter approved for?
The basic helicopter is approved for seven place seating
What type of operation is the helicopter approved for?
The helicopter is certified for land operation under day and night VFR non-icing conditions

- All unsecured items must be removed from the cabin before flight
- Protracted rearward and sideward flight prohibited
- Actual weight change shall be determined after doors, etc., have been removed and ballast readjusted, if necessary, to return empty weight center of gravity to within allowable limits

What are the flight crew requirements?
- The minimum flight crew consists of one pilot who shall operate the helicopter from the right crew seat
- The left crew seat may be used for an additional pilot when the approved dual controls are installed

Maximum operating pressure altitude is 20,000 feet
What is the airspeed limitation?
- Basic Vne is 150 MPH IAS sea level to 3000 feet density altitude
- Decrease Vne for ambient conditions in accordance with the Airspeed Limitations Placard
What is the Vne for the 88 to 100% torque takeoff power range?
Vne = 92 MPH
Are aerobatic maneuvers approved?
NO, aerobatic maneuvers are prohibited
What is the max approved gross weight for takeoff and landing?
Maximum approved gross weight for takeoff and landing is 4000 pounds for takeoff and landing
What is the minimum cockpit weight?
Minimum cockpit weight at fuselage station 65.0 is 170 pounds
What should be considered for passenger loading if both crew seats are occupied?
When both crew seats are occupied, only one mid-passenger is permitted unless there are two aft passengers
