Q

Oil pressure PSI:
Green:
Yellow:
Red:

A

Green: 85-104 PSI
Yellow: 40-85 PSI
Red: 105 PSI

Normal oil pressure is 85-105. Oil press below 85 PSI are undesirable and should be tolerated only for the completion of the flight, preferable at a reduced power setting. Oil pressures below 40 PSI are unsafe and require that either the engine be shut down or a landing be made as soon as possible using the minimum power required to sustain flight.
