≥115 PSI when N1 ≥ 94%

≥90 PSI when N1 ≥ 79%

≥50 PSI when N1 ≤ 79%

21
Q

Battery limits

A

Flights following 160°F (71°C) and 140°F (60°C) is prohibited until battery inspection

Not on our aircraft….

22
Q

Rotor Brake

A

Company policy is 100 RPM

23
Q

Max windspeed for hovering downwind with a cyclic trim failure (full forward)?

A

15 knots

24
Q

Fuel System purging

A

Further flight prohibited until fuel system is purged following:

Engine flameout caused by fuel exhaustion.

Draining fuel from engine compartment fuel drains (if installed) without the start pump on.

Engine shutdown using emergency fuel shutoff valve.

Motoring the engine without fuel in the fuel tank.

25
Q

Anti-Ice usage

A

If moisture visible and OAT below 5°C

26
Q

When to abort a start?

A

If no immediate temp rise on TOT.

No engine oil pressure is observed.

Main rotor not rotating by 25% N1 (20% company policy)

A zero or positive indication on ammeter. (May indicate a failure in starting circuit that may de-energize starter creating conditions for hot start)
