Turbulence Penetration Speed: 240 kt , above FL200 , 260/M.78 , in moderate turbulence or mountain wave.
FLEX Thrust take-off is always used except when:
- on contaminated runways
- The assumed temperature for FLEX THUST is lower than the actual OAT
- Windshear or known temperature inversion exists below 1500 ft AGL.
- Prohibited by Route Manual.
- Prohibited by MEL Manual
Engine starter limit

Wait 30 min to allow the starter to cool.
No running of the starter when the N3 is above 10 % on ground, or 30 % in flight
APU start limit
After three consecutive APU start attempts, wait 60 min before a new start attempt.
