The limbic system wraps around the thalamus at the center of the brain.
It helps give us the ability to form emotions and memory
The Limbic System is a complex system of nerves and networks in the brain.
It is concerned with instinct and mood. It controls the basic emotions (fear, pleasure, anger) and drives (hunger, care of offspring).
Expands on the more basic functions of the brain stem.
