Q

With reference to the lift formula Lift = CL1/2pV^2S, what two variables can the pilot change?

A

CL (angle of attack) and the EAS
To note - You may be able to change the wing surface area and angle of incidence using flaps. But its not the answer in the PowerPoint

Q

Bernoullis principle is?

A

An ideal fluid has no internal friction and is incompressible
With an increase in Velocity, there will be a decrease in pressure to remain constant
High speed = low pressure / Low speed = High pressure
Due to this fact, Fast moving air over the surface of an aerofoil generates a low pressure bubble, slow moving air under the wing causes a high pressure bubble
