- Squirts measured quantity of fluid on windshield
- Inhibited on ground with engines not running
- For Moderate or greater rainfall intensity

Auto shutdown for many reasons
Fire will only cause auto shutdown on the ground

- ECB self test
- Flap opens
- Fuel isolation valve opens & fuel pump on

MAN V/S CTL UP/DN
Commands manual motor to modulate outflow valve according to V/S selected using switch (displayed on ECAM)
Operates only when MODE SEL pb in MAN

1st Turn:
- isolates landing gear from G HYD SYS
2nd Turn:
- opens landing gear doors
3rd Turn:
- releases landing gear
AUTO LAND light
Flashes below 200’ RA, in LAND mode, when any of the following occur:
- both autopilots are off
- excessive localizer deviation
- excessive glide slop deviation
- loss of localizer signal above 15’ RA
- loss of glideslope signal above 100’ RA (FD bars flash, LAND mode remains engaged)
- difference of greater than 15’ between RA1 and RA2
