Q

Arise fair sun…
Who is already…
That thou her maid art…

A

And kill the envious moon
Sick and pale with grief
More fair than she
She’s a maid because she’s chaste
Juliet is warm and sunny, opposite to pale and is not sick
Romeo is possibly using the moon to represent Rosaline - resentment still? Expressing how Juliet is better than her?
Moon comes and goes so doesn’t want to represent Juliet as the moon. Sun instead because it’s what makes the moon be seen.
