the reflected ray
what are periscopes used for?
- seeing over crowds
- observing wildlife
- in submarines
what is refraction?
when the ray of light entering a transparent substance bends towards the normal line
what needs to happen in order for you to see a rainbow?
the angle between the direction of sunlight and your line of sight to the raindrops needs to be at about 42 degrees
why does a red object look black in green light?
as a red object only reflects red, it would absorb the green light
