Prey is an animal that is hunted by a larger Animal

Predators are animals that hunt smaller animals for food

Soluble is a cell. that is able to dissolve in liquid.
What is cellular respiration
Cellular respiration is a process where oxygen enters a cell, oxygen and soluble food met and react in a process called oxydation, the chemical energy is processed into energy for the organism, and waste and heat is given off
What is a habitat
A habitat is a place in an ecosystem where an organism lives, grows, and reproduces
What is a niche
A niche is a role that an organism plays in it’s habitat.
What do all living organisms do
They react to stimulus, reproduce more of their kind, move under their own power(except for plants), and

Food, water, oxygen, sunlight, and a habitat

Osmosis is diffusion of water across a membrane, such as a cell membrane

Sensitivity is the process a living organism reacts or responds to stimuli

Excretion is the process where an organism gets rid of waste (in the form of a solid, liquid, and gas)
What is photosynthesis
Photosynthesis is the process where plants turn co2, water, and sunlight into glucose, which is food for the plant

Ingestion is the process where all animals must get food from an outside source
What is digestion
Digestion is the process where food is broken down into a soluble form.
What is sessile
Sessile is an organism that doesn’t move under it’s own power and stays is one place, such as plants and fungi
What is locomotion
Locomotion is the process where a living organism moves from one place to another place under its own power. Animals move but plants and fungus don’t
What is absorption
Absorption is the movement of soluble food through a cell membrane
What is diffusion
Diffusion is a process that allows soluble materials to pass through a selective membrane
What is semi-permeable
Semi-permeable is a selective cell membrane that allows soluble materials to pass through it

Circulation is the movement of food, water, and waste through an organism’s body
What is reproduction
Reproduction is a process where an organism makes more of it’s own kind
What is sexual reproduction
Sexual reproduction is a process where reproduction requires special sex cells
What is asexual reproduction
Asexual reproduction is a process where reproduction doesn’t require special sex cells.
