The process of gaining energy from the food they eat

Responding to the surrounding environment
Definition of Cells.
All living things have cells
Definition of Growth.
All living things grow
Definition of Reproduction
All living things reproduce, producing offspring
Definition of Excretion
Removing waste
Definition of Nutrition
All living things need nutrients
What are the 5 kingdoms?
Animals, Plants, Fungi, Bacteria, Protists
What makes an organism living?
The organism has all of the 8 life processes
What makes an organism non-living?
Doesn’t have all of the 8 life processes
What makes an organism dead?
Was once living, but no longer has any of the life processes
